Boy, 19 jailed for robbery A Kumasi circuit court presided by Mary M. E Nsenkyire has sentenced a 19 year old boy to 12 years imprisonment with hard labor. Saienu Yahaya, 19 years old driver’s mate pleaded guilty to the charge of robbery. Police Inspector Felix Akowuah stated that Saienu Yahaya ambushed and attacked the complainant on the 11 September 2016 around 8:00 pm at Obinin Junction. When the complainant was returning from market. Saienu Yahata then robbed the victim of her Motorola mobile phone valued at GH100.00 cedis and a cash sum of GH 22.00 cedis and bolted away. Prosecution indicates that, Saienu Yahaya got apprehended when the victim with her husband was going to the hospital for treatment when they spotted Saienu Yahaya at the scene of attack. Four nabbed for armed robbery @KNUST Four guys have been arraigned before KMA circuit for alleged armed robbery on students of KNUST. Kofi Frimpong Acquah 23, Kwabena Boateng 22, phone dealer, Richard Effah Kweku 20, a drivers mate and Mohamed Kyeremanteng 24, unemployed were nabbed in a robbery expedition at Shalom Hostel near KNUST. Police Inspector H.
